Edwards Removals offer a free, NO OBLIGATION home removals survey, irrespective if you are London based, moving to London, or indeed, anywhere in the world. To book your survey, simply contact us on 0845 430 8000 and we will arrange for one of our trained consultants to call on you.
We will undertake a survey at your home, and our consultant will discuss your particular moving requirements with you, and agree a plan for your household removal.
A household removal survey will normally take half an hour, during which time a list of the packing materials, an assessment of the furniture volume and the appropriate logistics will be determined.
Surveys are free of charge and quotations are provided without obligation.
Our quotation will normally be e-mailed to you on the day of the quotation, unless otherwise specified. Copies of the contract can also be posted to you on the same day.
Once the quotation is accepted, a crew is allocated to the project, and parking suspensions will be arranged as appropriate.
Any specialist removal services or equipment will be booked, and cases ordered for paintings or antiques.
Our accounts department will prepare your invoice accordingly. Customers can make payments via debit or credit card (we accept all major credit cards) cheque or bank transfer.
If complete peace of mind is what you're after, Edwards Removals goes that extra mile to ease the process of moving home; from organising a professional handyman, electrician or plumber if required to delivering a few cartons in advance to give you a head-start on packing.
Most of our customers choose our complete packing service. All glass, china and other breakables will be professionaly wrapped by our specialist packing teams. We use picture cartons for pictures and paintings, wine cartons for transporting wine, hanging wardrobe cartons for moving clothes and all mattrassses and sofas/armchairs will be protected by specialist bags.
For ornate mirrors and guilt framed pictures, we can have wooden crates made to measure to ensure absolute peace of mind. Any antiques or special/delicate items will be export wrapped as an extra precaution.
On the commencing date of your removal, our dedicated team will introduce themselves, and run through the removal project with you.
The household contents will be systematically packed and loaded, leaving essentials to last. All cartons are marked with contents, and the location from which they are removed, to make for a convenient and accurate relocation at your destination. Furniture will be unwrapped and reassembled. A full unpacking service is available if required and collection of cartons and materials will be arranged after the removal.
